Just like last year, 2011 had with many rookie debuts — some managed to stand out from the crowd, while others faded into the mist.
Thanks to new audition programs and survival music shows, the list of new artists are as long as ever, with rookies taking fame to new heights thanks to the global success of K-Pop.
Star News recently surveyed the industry’s top composers (Yoon Il Sang, Jo Young Soo, Brave Brothers, E-TRIBE, Lee Min Soo, and Shinsadong Tiger) on who they were looking forward to in 2012.
E-TRIBE, the man behind SNSD’s ‘Gee‘ and Hyori‘s ‘U-Go-Girl‘, chose Big Bang, miss A, and Dal Shabet.
He said, “If Big Bang makes a comeback next year, I think they’ll be the trend leaders. miss A has always shown different music and stage styles, which makes me anticipate their future promotions. Dal Shabet is also in the middle of changing up their image and music so I think next year will definitely be one to look forward to.”
